Bathroom Play-by-Play
Eden is almost independent when it comes to using the bathroom. She still needs assistance from time to time. This is the normal play-by-play from the bathroom at least once a day.
Eden's running to the bathroom at the last possible second... she has almost underestimated her need to go to the potty... again.
"Oh...oh...oh...I need to go to the potty."
She makes it just in time!
"I just have to pee!" she yells at the top of her lungs.
A minute goes by...
"No. I have to poo-poo."
Another minute goes by....
"Mama, come wipe me!" she yells. (Again, at the top of her lungs.)
Mama comes and wipes her bottom.
"I love you, mama," she says.

Re: Bathroom Play-by-Play
Hi Marria! I'm enjoying your blog - how great a day of celebration I remember in my heart when I actually didn't know when they'd peed or pooped for a few days!!! What servants exist in those who will wipe bottoms.... and not just our children's. It reminds me of one of my last visions of my grandmother before she died of cancer - she was so embarassed to not be able to go to the bathroom and there was my mom and her 2 sisters using all their strength to lift her up and change her. I remember being so touched by this scene. While we learn the true beginnings of servitude changing and wiping our children, I think it only becomes fully grown when we are serving our parents. Love you!

Aww, that's really sweet that she's so thankful for wiping. :)
