Favorite Shoes (no matter the season!)
Lillian passed these shoes down to Eden at the beginning of the summer. I thought Eden wouldn't like them because they were very worn and a lot of the sequins were missing (they had been passed down to Lillian). I was wrong. The "Hello Kitty" sequin slides - otherwise known as the "my blue shoes" - became Eden's absolute favorite shoes!
Last week it was very chilly and Eden and I needed to run a few errands. I asked her to pick some shoes (she was wearing a skirt with tights). She came back in a few minutes with her "blue shoes" on...
"Eden, those aren't cold weather shoes," I told her.
"Yes they are mama! They go perfectly with tights!" she replied.
How could I argue with that response???
